When I joined the Crime Scene Writer’s group on Yahoo, I knew I was finally going to be able to ask about killing people without receiving crazed looks. I knew I wouldn’t have to fear a cameo appearance on the FBI Watchlist due to my google searches. I knew I’d found the research mecca of crime writers!
What I didn’t know is that I would meet Cindy Carroll, a fellow group member, currently working on disturbing suspense/thrillers, urban fantasies and paranormals. Oh, and I’m making a special guest appearance on her blog today! Click here and enjoy!
I pretty much hate answering those same questions, especially the “Are you published yet?”
Questions like these are why I don’t leave the house much and when I do, I don’t talk to strangers.
Maybe this is why most writers are introverts and antisocial (me included). We don’t like answering asinine questions! (Not until after we’re published, anyway).
Absolutely. But when my book is published, I’m gonna sit outside in a fort made of copies of my book, inviting all the questions in the world. 😉
Reblogged this on A Serendipitous Happenstance and commented:
Loved this!
I get those a lot. I always talk about how I had to right “adult” fiction to get through college and they usually clam up after that.
Haha! When in doubt, make annoying people uncomfortable.
Ha. I love this. Next time someone asks what I write I’m going to say erotica — just to see the reaction.
And please blog about said reaction, lol.
