Could I BE Any Lovelier?

That title is my best impression of Chandler Bing from Friends, by the way. Picture him saying it in your head and it will be funnier, I promise.

The purpose of this post is to thank people for thinking I’m lovely. A long while ago, Wendy Neudorf nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award. A not so long while ago, Vikki nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award. And yesterday, G. A. Albrethsen nominated me for -you guessed it- the One Lovely Blog Award. What have I learned from all of this? That I might, just might, be thought of as lovely. I’m not sure though. <Insert playful, appreciative sarcasm here>

I thank all of these fellow bloggers sincerely and before you rest your head to sleep tonight, you should check out their blogs. If you had an especially long day, than I suppose you could check out their blogs tomorrow, but you know what they say about putting off til tommorrow…

Wendy Neudorf – Inside the Writer

Vikkie – The View Outside

G. A. Albrethsen – Age of Restoration

Okay, so for anyone who lives under a boulder and doesn’t know the rules, I’m supposed to display the award images, thank the bloggers who bestowed said awards, supply seven facts about myself, and nominate a bunch more bloggers. (FYI, I’m running out of interesting facts AND bloggers to nominate.)

Fact: We have twin flat screen TVs side-by-side in our living room for better sports viewing (multiple games). It’s the bees knees.

Fact: I recently said on facebook that bread companies should grind up the “ends” and make pellets to donate to petting zoos since no one likes the “ends.” I still think that’s a good idea.

Fact: I’m on pace to read about 100 books this year.

Fact: I hate shopping. If clothes that fit and looked good could just appear in my closet/dresser I wouldn’t question it.

Fact: My actual handwriting is neat and pretty but when I’m just scribbling notes for my book it’s damn near illegible.

Fact: I have a love/hate relationship with my curly hair.

Fact: The first word my mother taught me how to spell was “astronaut.”

And here are my nominees:

These are are some of the blogs I’ve recently begun following. Visit their sites or I’ll come to your house and step on your feet.

  1. Congratulations on your award – you’re on a roll! And btw, I think you’re very deserving! I really do enjoy the diversity /variety of your posts! Oh, and yeah, “Could I BE Any Lovelier?” is even funnier when I think of Chandler saying it.

  2. Love Chandler Bing! Congratulations on your nomination! Way to go! Your list made me laugh. I would appreciate you not telling my husband about the side by side TV thing. We already have too many! I totally agree with the clothes thing. I am running off to check out those blogs so I don’t have to worry about my feet! Lol.

    • I’m glad you liked my post! Thanks for the comment! I won’t tell your husband about the tvs, nor will I tell of our plans to get a bigger one and mount it over the twin ones. THREE games at once! Gosh, I can’t wait.

And thank you for checking out my fellow bloggers, I really didn’t wanna have to step on a tribe mate’s feet. 😉
